Lights in the sky, landings, sightings, UFOs, and aliens aren't common: they won't appear just because you're waiting, watching, and hoping.
Photographing them has been spectacularly unsuccessful: double exposures, camera movements, reflections, coloured lights, smoke, atmospheric disortions, photo-editing programs, weather balloons, things on wires, and people in masks, all feature regularly.
On Sunday 6 April 2008, GRX UK took their UFO Detector to the old quarry, and waited. The sky was dark and there was a new moon and shooting stars. These photos recapture their visions.

UFO Detector does not guarantee to detect aliens or UFOs, nor does its name imply that they exist. But it might, and they might. However, your interaction, emotional state, and belief system, may be important factors in how you interpret unusual events. An electronic indicator is a useful tool to some people and an amusing toy to others.
